With the site installed, here's what to do first from the admin panel (/admin).
1. Check General settings #
Site name, active languages, timezone and the default player API domain (you can leave it as is if you don't have your own servers yet).
2. Activate your license #
Under System → License, paste the key you received by email when you bought it. Without an active license the site works the same, but you won't get updates, new preloaded catalog lists or store access. More detail in license and updates.
3. Set your TMDB key #
Under Settings → Plugins → TMDB Import, paste your TMDB API key (free, requested on their own site). It's the prerequisite for importing any title.
4. Import your first titles #
From the admin panel, use Add from TMDB: paste the name, URL or ID of a movie or series and MovieMaster brings in cast, genres, seasons and episodes automatically. Full guide at importing from TMDB.
5. Add servers to each title #
Every movie or episode needs at least one server per language (Latin American Spanish, European Spanish or subtitled) to be playable. Add them from the title's page in the panel, or in bulk with the CSV import plugin if you're coming from another site.
6. Review your site's SEO #
Under Admin → SEO you can adjust title templates, branding and the words used in URLs before Google indexes anything. These are site-wide settings — no need to touch them title by title.
7. Pick your theme #
MovieMaster ships with the "Cinema" theme enabled by default, built for SEO and speed. If you install another from the store, activate it under Appearance.
With that, your catalog is live and ready to share.
