Buying a license

Buying MovieMaster takes a few minutes: you pick what you're buying, leave your email and pay with PayPal or USDT. Here's what happens at each step.

What the license includes #

A Site plan license costs 75 USD with USDT or 95 USD with PayPal, one-time, and includes:

  • 1 production domain: the license anchors to the first one you activate it on and is non-transferable.
  • 1 year of core, plugin and theme updates, counted from the purchase.
  • Preloaded catalog updates during that year.
  • Access to the extension store.
  • Email support.

It doesn't include hosting, a domain name or a TMDB API key: you provide those. There's no limit on titles or visits either.

After that year, your site keeps working exactly the same. If you want to keep receiving updates, you renew for 25 USD a year, whenever you choose (see account and renewal).

Step by step #

  1. Go to pricing and click Buy a license.
  2. Under What you're buying, choose New license. The renewal option only shows up if you signed in to your account first.
  3. Under Your details, enter your email. Your key and receipt are sent there, and it's the email you'll use to sign in to your account later: pick one you'll always have access to.
  4. Optionally, enter the domain where you'll use it. It's only a hint: what counts is where you activate it.
  5. Under How you pay, choose PayPal, USDT on the TRON network (TRC20) or USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20).
  6. Accept the terms and click Continue to payment.

The amount is calculated by our server: the price you see on the page is informational, and nothing is charged until you confirm on PayPal or send the payment. Each method is covered in paying with PayPal and paying with crypto.

After you pay #

Once the payment is confirmed:

  • The order page tells you the license is ready and shows its last 4 characters.
  • We email you the full key. That's the only time you'll see it in full: we only store a fingerprint (hash) and the last 4 characters, so we can't send it to you again. Keep that email.
  • Your account is created with that email. From My account you can see your licenses, downloads and invoices.

The key looks like this: MM-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.

With USDT, confirmation can take a few minutes. If the page says we're issuing your license, there's nothing else to do: it'll arrive by email anyway.

Activating it on your site #

Download the package from My account → Downloads, install it (see installing) and paste the key into the installer or, later, into your site's panel: System → License.

The first activation on a production domain anchors the license to that domain. With or without www counts as the same domain. Activating it locally (localhost, domains ending in .local, .test or .localhost, and private IPs) doesn't anchor it. Careful: while it isn't anchored yet, any public domain counts as production, including a staging subdomain such as staging.yourdomain.com: if you activate it there first, the license gets anchored to that subdomain. Activate your production domain first, or test only locally; once it's anchored, staging subdomains of that domain no longer move it (details in license and updates). Before activating it in production, make sure it's your final domain.

Several sites #

Each license covers one domain. If you run several sites, buy one license for each: if you use the same email, they all show up in the same account.

If something goes wrong #

If you paid and the email doesn't arrive after a while, check your spam folder and sign in to My account with the purchase email: a confirmed order shows up there with its license. If it doesn't (for example, a USDT payment that wasn't matched because of a different amount or network), write to us from contact with the order number and, if you paid with USDT, the network and the txid.
